This upcoming year is going to be quite exciting for me... I'm moving away from the laid back student life onto the hectic yuppie life! I've put down a few non-career related goals I'd like to achieve this year, one of which is to shoot more, experiment with post-processing more, and at some stage, get something printed (I've heard that there's very little on Earth that compares to holding onto a large print of one of your works). Hopefully, I'll be able to start at least one A-Z photography project this year too! It shouldn't be too much trouble though - I have plenty of source material after I did a quick 9 week tour of three continents!
Starting full-time work unfortunately means I won't be able to shoot with better gear as frequently as I like, so I've started a "Mobile Photography" folder as well, which I'll upload any decent shots I get off my phone. I've thrown on two shots already, both of which look surprisingly atmospheric, even though I shot it on a camera which I would deem pretty crap. Not to mention I had plenty of finger-oil smudges on the plastic cover of the lens. Time to put Chase Jarvis' saying "The Best Camera Is The One That's With You" to the test!
And with that, I say adieu! I hope everyone who came across this journal entry has a wonderful 2013 in front of them (and if it's well into 2013 already for you, I hope your year has been coming along well!)
